Day 28 – Somewhere You’d Like to Move or Visit

30 Day Writing Challenge

To start my 30 Day Writing Challenge from the beginning, start here.

I love to travel. In truth, I don’t get away that often, but I would love the chance to take six months and travel the world. I

The Great Pyramid of Giza

would love to visit Egypt, and stand at the foot of The Great Pyramid of Giza. But with all the civil unrest going on there, I think I can hold off a little longer.

Polar Ice Caps

I would also love to visit Iceland and see the polar ice caps before they all melt and we are submerged under water. But the one place that I really want to visit is Rome, Italy.

I love history, especially history that you can still see and feel. I would love to visit Vatican City and walk the paths of ancient Romans. I would love to see The Colosseum in Rome and be immersed in its history. Day 28 - Somewhere You’d Like to Move or Visit 30 Day Writing Challenge

I’m not sure if I would move there, but I would defiantly love to visit. Anyone want to foot the bill for me to fly there? No? Well, it couldn’t hurt to ask.

I think on my list of things to see would be the Seven Wonders of the World. Granted, this list has changed hundreds of times and contains different places for different cultures, my seven would be:

  • The Great Wall of China
  • The Great Pyramid of Giza
  • The Colosseum in Rome
  • Stonehenge
  • Machu Picchu
  • The Northern Lights
  • The Great Barrier Reef

If I had the money, I would spend time at each one.

Have you been to any of these places?
