Day 30 – One Thing You’re Excited For
30 Day Writing Challenge
To start my 30 Day Writing Challenge from the beginning, start here.
Today is officially the last day of my 30 Day Writing Challenge! It’s finally here, and it’s strange. A little bitter sweet for me, and I hope for you too, but I am sure that we will survive. I had such a blast doing this that I’m thinking of revisiting this in about a year to see how my answers have changed.
For my last post, I am supposed to tell you something that I’m excited for. Well, there are several things, but I guess I will have to narrow it down. I’m really excited about my work in progress, Complicated. Last night, after I wrote Day 29, I sat down to really write. It has been difficult as of late because I typically like to edit as I write, and that totally messes with my momentum, and how far I get. I think this comes from writing for sites like Literotica. Each week, or so, I would have to type out a chapter and submit it to the website. Writing in that fashion almost conditioned me to write and edit as I go along. While it’s not the worst thing in the world to do, I am trying to hold off on my edits, and so far I think it’s working.
I’m excited about finishing Complicated as my first major piece since Quarterback Sneak, and I’m also excited to re-work Distractions for publication. I have finally managed to balance my social media presence and my writing, and I finally feel like I’m hitting my stride and I won’t get burnt out like last time.
I cant wait to see what the future holds, and I hope that you are there to share this journey with me.
Phew! I did it. My 30 Day Writing Challenge is finished!
