Celebrity archaeologist Cari Dunn knew an affair with Jasper Benjamin was dangerous. Especially after the sound of shattering glass interrupts what was supposed to be a pleasure-filled night. When the threats against Cari start to stack up and the list of suspects seems higher than ever, Jasper calls for backup. Some very hot and exciting backup. For one night, Cari feels more protected than ever. But if they’re lost in passion, can they see the danger before it’s too late?
This is book 2 of the three part series, Uninhibited by Lauren Hawkeye, and I enjoyed it. This book leaves off right where book 1 ended, and I am happy to say I enjoyed the character development and pacing of the story. Again, like book one (you can see my review of Untamed by Lauren Hawkeye here), this was a quick read – I read it in about two hours in between doing a bunch of random things and still found that I eagerly wanted to return to flip the next page. This story is erotic and it contains some great, steamy scenes; menage, exhibitionism, and voyeurism, so if you’re not interested, stay clear. If you are, then this will be a really entertaining read for you. As with the last book, I do wish it were longer, but its a quick story that hits the spot. Unbound starts off right where Un
DON’T MISS THE FIRST PART IN THE UNINHIBITED SERIAL!
Celebrity archaeologist Cari Dunn is so over the Georgia heat, the red tape at her dig site, and the threatening messages left on her motel door. She just wants to dig, and the network just wants to keep her safe—with a bodyguard. She can’t complain. Jasper Benjamin radiates raw masculinity that penetrates her to the core and ignites passion she’s never felt. Too bad for him, she’s not going to be easy to handle.
Lusting after the bodyguard shouldn’t be so tempting, especially when her life is on the line.
ABOUT LAUREN HAWKEYE
New York Time and USA Today bestselling author Lauren Hawkeye never imagined that she’d wind up telling stories for a living… though when she looks back, it’s easy to see that she’s the only one who is surprised. Always “the kid who read all the time”, Lauren made up stories about her favorite characters once she’d finished a book… and once spent an entire year narrating her own life internally. No, really. But where she was just plain odd before publication, now she can at least claim to have an artistic temperament.
Lauren lives in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada with her husband, two young sons, pit bull and two idiot cats, though they do not live in an igloo, nor do they drive a dogsled. In her nonexistent spare time Lauren can be found knitting, reading anything she can get her hands on, or sweating her way through spin class. She loves to hear from her readers!
