Writing Inspiration Tip #001

Getting started is the hardest thing second only to keeping the ball rolling. So, here are a some ideas to help you to keep the creative juices flowing.

Descriptions

Okay, this one isn’t about just talking about a doctor’s office or describing a chair. Yes, these can be boring, but the main point is to get your mind and your fingers churning to bring your readers into your story. Descriptions can be about anything; small or large. If you are really up for a challenge, try describing something boring like a chair, or a doctor’s office, but do it with the intention of making your readers care about something they otherwise would have overlooked.

  1. Waiting roomPills
  2. Broken chair
